Research interests:

Zhang Li is interested in the fabrication and applications of organic/inorganic composite functional materials. She has done lots of work on the development of titanium implants, PEEK dental implant, thermo-sensitive artificial skin, etc. And now she is also working on polyurethane (PU) microspheres with opposite charges which could carry different drugs and be injected into defects caused by bone tuberculosis and self-assembled quickly, showing a great potential to be used in minimal invasive surgery. Besides, GBR membranes with asymmetric structure made of chitosan, ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) and collagen separately were also developed.
